HalalKnot is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger or a crime is in progress, contact local emergency services or police first, then report the account to us.
Be Respectful
Treat all members with dignity and respect. Remember that you're interacting with real people seeking meaningful connections.
Use polite and courteous language in all communications
Respect others' decisions if they decline your connection request
Honor religious and cultural sensitivities
Accept "no" gracefully without pressuring others

Reporting & Enforcement
We take violations seriously. If you encounter inappropriate behavior:
Use the Report button on any profile to flag concerning behavior
Block users who make you uncomfortable
Reports are reviewed as soon as reasonably possible
Depending on severity and history, action may include content removal, a warning, feature restriction, suspension, or a permanent ban
Serious conduct may lead to immediate restriction while it is reviewed and, where legally appropriate, preservation or disclosure of relevant records
Members affected by an account or content decision will normally receive the action category and a concise reason, unless giving details would create a safety risk or breach the law
If you believe we made a mistake, you may appeal within six months. Appeals should explain the decision being challenged and why it should be changed. A person who was not the original decision-maker will review the appeal where reasonably possible. See our Enforcement & Appeals process.
By using HalalKnot, you agree to follow these community guidelines. These rules and our enforcement controls are intended to reduce harm, but cannot prevent every incident. For questions, contact connect.hk@outlook.com
